Colour
Growth marketing for music, arts and culture.
The primary theme dresses Motive Unknown: the website, pitches, social posts and advertising. It has two sides, Light and Dark. Each side uses the neutrals and one accent colour, orange. The verticals do not have colours. The icon of each vertical identifies it: see Icons.
Neutrals
The neutrals are black, white, a grey and four text tones. The chips show the side that is in use now. Use only black and white where colour is not possible, for example in a document that prints in one colour.
Accents
Orange is the only brand colour. Use the Accent for one item in each view: a key figure, the primary action or a highlight. Put ink on the Accent. On Light, use orange type only at H3 or larger.
Secondary palettes
A secondary palette dresses one project: its report, its presentation and the other pieces for it.

Choose the palette that agrees with the energy of the artist or the collaborator. Then use that palette for all of the project. There are nineteen secondary palettes. Each palette has a primary colour and a secondary colour. The contrast between the two colours is 4.5:1 or more.
Click a colour to make it the theme of this guide. The primary colour gives the Bright layout. The secondary colour gives the Deep layout. A cross shows the colour that is in use. To go back, use the Light, Dark and Colour switch at the bottom of the window. On a screen narrower than 1124px, the switch is at the bottom of the menu.
Applications

In a project, the palette of the project replaces the primary theme. The type, the mark and the pattern do not change.
Usage
Do
Don't
Choose the palette from the artwork, the artist or the collaborator. Do not use the palettes in turn to get variety. Do not choose a palette only because the last job used a different palette.
